About Terminal Illness

Why “terminal illness,” you ask? It was inspired by a quote: I did not fully understand the dread term “terminal illness” until I saw Heathrow for myself. And ain’t that the truth? Long flights, long layovers, customs lines… airports in general do not incite fuzzy feelings. Though, ironically, my favorite feeling is the minute I step off a plane in a foreign country. I am an addict. It’s not something I want cured, because it’s more like a fun disease. You know, like Tourette’s. And it’s terminal. I’ll never shake it.
